I use my Bold mostly for work and it's synced through our corporate BES. Last night I added my personal comcast email account and I did get the seperate icon. The only issue I have is that when I get mail in my personal account, it's now showing up in both inboxes on the device.

Is there a way to keep the two seperate?

look for a 3rd party app called Empower
this will create a seperate BES inbox icon, so you can hide the messages icon and use each individual mailbox icons.

But I do have seperate icons. I just don't want my personal email to show up in the same mailbox as my work email.

No, MESSAGES icon is a catch all.
But BES mail only goes into the messages icon.
i.e. BES mail goes to MESSAGES icon, but so will youremail@domain.
you need to create a BES ONLY icon by using Empower.

I just got my new bold from work and decided to add my AOL email account as well. I get the deal with the Messages icon being the central catch all for email on the phone. I think I would rather just delete the AOL account and not worry about it.

I have been searching for 30 minutes to find out how to delete an email account but have had not luck. Can someone offer info on how to delete a second email account? I just want to go back to receiving my work email on my bb.

Never mind. I found it.

I was looking in at email settings in Options rather than Email Settings in the SetUp folder where I had originally set up the AOL account.

Once I found this it was just a matter of highlighting the AOL email line, press menu, select delete from the menu, click the track ball, confirm that I wanted to delete the account and now it is gone.
