Question Junk Mail

I can deal with junk mail on my PC/laptop by labelling senders as unwanted.. How do I deal similarly with junk mail on my BlackBerry?

There isnt a junk mail feature on the BB.
You need to have it filtered within the webmail of your email provider.
So that it is filtered before it gets to your BB.

Are you using an ISP provided email account or a gmail/hotmail/yahoo type account?

Depends on what kind of mail service you currently use. If you have a blackberry.net email account (BIS) you will have to login to your BIS account and adjust the spam filters (at least that what the carriers say here in Canada), if you have BES server at your coporate office and they are running Exchange server, the administrator isn't doing a good enough job at keeping the spam away and you shoudl tell him or her. :o)

Otherwise you're SOL.

The carrier supplied email account (xxx.blackberry.net) is totally unfiltered, AFAIK. Don't think it can be since it is on the RIM servers. One reason I, and others, do not recommend using it.

Don't even bother thinking of the BIS filters as spam filters.
