Default BB gone crazy, keeps pressing the trackball for me!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

It's not me pressing the trackball, it opens menus and selects items as though I'd pressed the trackball even though I hadn't. Spontaneously started happening.

I've tried the Wipe Handheld option, and reloaded the phone using Loader.exe in BB software. It's still doing it!

Anyone heard of this happening?

Wirelessly posted (9530; (I'm mobile) MF231; 35h)

Yep, its usually a symptom of moisture damage or a very dirty trackball and housing.

Replace the trackball. It pops right out.

Thanks. I left it in a hot spot next to my heater and now it's almost back to normal.

Thank for the help and now I know that the trackball can be cleaned or replaced. My Blackberrys get much abuse and international use and near military use, so it's good to be able to clean the fragile trackball.
