I have a blackberry curve 8310 and the water damage indicator is red, so i know i have water damage, my battery is fine, and when i tried to turn on my phone, the keypad doesnt work. Is there anything i can do or any place i can go to get my phone fixed? or is my only option to buy a new phone?
thanks...

Water damage indicator??? I didn't know the BlackBerry had that.

I would suggest that you put your device in a bowl of uncooked rice for abour two days so as to extract as much moisture as possible, before putting the battery back in.

Water damage indicator??? Really??

Yes, under the battery and on the battery there are water damage indicators. Normally they are white. When there's moisture, they turn red.

Yes it is. If you have your device in the bathroom while you shower, your device is being exposed to moisture.

If the device is in your pocket unprotected and you are sweating heavily, the phone (in particular the keyboard) can get moisture damage.
