have a 8320 (ATT) user that brought to my attention that most of his messages do not appear on his BB. I've narrowed it down that the missing messages are those that are auto filed based on rules within his notes client. I assume that this is just how the BES/BB work, they monitor inbox only & since these message never actually appear in the inbox that is why they are not appearing on the device. If that is the case is there a way to still have those messages appear in the folders on his device? Thanks for anything that you can add!

If you go to the in box>menu>options>email settings>menu>folder redirection are the folders listed in there? The BlackBerry can put messages into those folders. It just won't pre-populate all the older messages, just everything going forward after the Enterprise activation. ( and some initial pre-population, generally 200 items or last 5 days.)

If you mark those folders for redirection then they will show in the Messages folder on the BB.

Depending on whether or not he has it set to "show when filed" they may or may not "disappear" when they have been read. All that will happen in reality is that they will be in the folder on the BB.
