Unhappy Unable to sync my Blackberry 8320

Please Login to Remove!

I am unable to sync my Blackberry 8320 with my contacts. All other synchronization is fine. I get the following error message: Intellisync "Unable to read application data" and the synchroniztion process stops. I have uninstalled/re-installed the BB application software w/no success. Any possible suggestions.

Thank you

Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer)

Something might be corrupt. Does that message come up during the Outlook or device part of the sync? You might try to do a one way synch from the normal to the corrupted source.

Search your computer for a file called "scan.pst" run it and scan your Outlook PST file with it.. You can find your Outlook PST files by searching your computer for the following "*.pst"

What version of the desktop manager are you using and/or Outlook if applicable.

I did a one way sync and noted that the problem was those contacts I entered manually in my BB device. I deleted all of the manual entries and I was able to successfully sync my device. Now, the question I have is that all contact entries apparently have to be made through Outlook and synchronized with my BB to update.
