Default Problem with Handago Inhand and 8700g trackwheel

Please Login to Remove!

I have been using Handago Inhand for some time, and really love it.

I have an 8700G (T-mobile) with the latest software (v4.5.0.55)

However, a couple of weeks ago, when I launch the application, the trackwheel only lets me select the first 2 selections (Apps and Weather).

In other words, the trackwheel only selects the first column up and down, and does not advance over to the other columns (games, weather, etc).

I don't believe that this is a problem with the trackwheel as it works perfectly on everything else (web browser, contact lists, calendar, etc) and lets me scroll around every other screen with no problems.

I've tried uninstalling the software, reinstalling it (both via cable and OTA), and even have wiped the BB and reinstalled everything from scratch, taking the battery out, resetting, etc.

The Handago site doesn't mention any such problem.

Was wondering if anyone has seen any similar problems or know what may be causing this. Other posts mention problems with the trackwheel, but since it works great on every other application, it appears to be peculiar to Handago Inhand.

Thanks

I had this problem on the 8700g with Inhand and a few other similar applications. I think the problem is that the latest versions of the software are assuming your blackberry has a trackball. Time for a trade up?

Huhm. Sound likes they don't test the app on 8700. You should notify them the problem, hopefully they have a fix up

I had been using the application on the handheld for a couple of years, but come to think of it, I don't remember installing it after upgrading to v4.5, and when I did install it, it didn't work, so it may be that.

However, I did wipe it and install the v4.2 that is on Tmobile's site, and it still didn't work, but don't remember if I did a clean wipe or if I reloaded the backup - could have reinstalled any problem?

I'll write Handago and ask them if there could be a problem with the software thinking I have a trackball instead of a wheel.

Sometimes I consider upgrading, but my work provides a BB for free, and I only turn on my personal BB data when I travel so I can use cool applications and don't have to fight with IT policies.

Thanks for the help. I may try wiping and reinstalling older operating system (and only restoring contacts) whenever I get a free weekend
