Question Microsoft Outlook -Missing apps- Notes and Tasks

Please Login to Remove!

My Blackberry 8310 synchronizes with Microsoft Outlook 2007. I have noticed couple of days ago that Notes and Tasks icons and apps have disappeared from My Blackberry. They are not hidden- I checked. I hit the wall with AT&T (my carrier).
I have fully wiped out, reset & re-activated Blackberry account- no change.
Can anyone help?

Have you tried going into Application Loader within Desktop Manager and seeing if there is anything strange going on in there? Unchecked boxes?

Default Install application

When I had the same problem I seem to remember having to go to the desktop manager as if I had a new application to install. And thats where it was obvious that notes and tasks did not have a check mark next to them. Check them and it'll put them on the BB

if you have wireless sync, then you are on a BES or redirector, if on a bes , call IT to get you atemp activation pass and do an enterprise activation, this will reconnect you and push all service books needed

Thanks to all. Problem solved:
It was in desktop manager, Application loader: both tasks and memopad got miraculously unchecked.
I never use desktop manager- it crashes more ofthen than it works, but after 3 crashes- i was able to open it and check the application loader where I discovered that memopad and tasks apps were unchecjked and therefore not present on Blackberry.

Thumbs up

WOow! Tanks! I did an OS upgrade about a month ago and lost memo pad and tasks. I've been lost. My BES support team didn't even think of this. Boy, do I feel like a noob!

Thanks for this great forum.
