Default 8820 or 9000?

Please Login to Remove!

It will be on at&t network. I know the 9000 has a better screen and it's faster but dropped calls and bad battery life makes me think about the 8820 with 4.5 would be a good choice. GPS and Wi-Fi is a must. Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (My Curve)

I would go with the bold. I've had no issues with it

I've had my bold since December. No battery or dropped call issues.

The 8820 vs. the 9000 are very different hardware wise, the 9000 far surpasses the 8820, in processor speed (double of the 8820), alot more on board device memory (8820 has 48 I think, while the 9000 has 128 I think), 9000 is 3G, and the Bold has an excellent display.

Given the 2 Bold hands down.

Also the 8820 has no camera. It's a solid device and a superb choice for a corporate user that cannot have a camera, but personally I love my camera. No, it's not the best cam, but it gets the job done.

No issues with my Bold either. Often newer OS's straighten out a lot of the issues folks have reported with their Bolds. Original firmware tends to be hideous.

I have had both....if you get an 8820 you are crazy. The Bold has a better screen, memory, speed, 3G, easier memory card access...on and on and on.

Lousy battery, so you will need to get a Seidio replacement. I had to do that with the Curve though, too.

Never had a dropped call on the Bold.
