We are just about to upgrade a number of mobile handsets in the UK and the preference is a Blackberry solution.

Vodafone UK are currently offering the 7290 or 7100, however I wanted to know if anyone is aware of any new Blackberry devices on the horizon?

How about BB Connect on the P910, how does this compare to the 7100 in terms of BB functionality?

It has some of the functionality but not the intuitiveness of the BB OS. The core functions you get with Connect are:

-"Push"-based wireless email access
-Triple DES encryption
-Wireless email reconciliation
-Remote address book look-up
-Wireless calendar synchronization
-Attachment viewing
-IT policy enforcement and commands

I would be interested to find out the battery life on these devices too.

MHO would be get the BB handhelds if you want the proper solution.
