Hey guys I just got my storm yesterday and upgraded to 4.7.0.103 and I noticed then 2 times while trying to end conversation and close out of it it would freeze the whole system up and give me an error. I don't remember exactly what it said but something to the effect of "you've lost connection or this module '' can't communicate with your connection" and then you click ok and it would close out. The first time I thought the whole thing froze but I was still able to hold down the power button and reset it. Anyone else had this happen.

Other than this I totally love the phone and am very happy with the latest firmware, much MUCH faster than 4.7.0.75.

Did you try a battery pull?

That is exactly what happended to me. I rolled back to .75 for now.

I didn't do a battery pull, just a full power down and power up. Wouldn't that accomplish the same thing. It only happened 2 out of the 8 times that I ended conversation. I don't want to roll back to the original OS because it's too slow.

No, the battery pull functions as a reset of the device, not just a simple powering off and on. It's different, trust us. Try a battery pull.

Ok, i'll try it but do I do it while the machine is still on or power it down and then pull it. I've always pulled the battery on my 8330 with the power off.

You'll have to pull the battery out while it's on - pulling it while the phone is off has no effect.
