Default Setting more than one alarm?

Please Login to Remove!

Perhaps I'm just missing something glaringly obvious, but is there a way to set more than one alarm? My old phone allowed up to three, my friend's takes up to five, how could a Blackberry only have one? If not on the phone proper, is there an alarm app I can snag? I just want a wake-up, medicine, and weekend alarm, is that so much to ask...

Thanks, I'll take a look at it! I just can't believe the alarm it comes with is so...un-robust...what is the deal?

Wait, this is the MyAlarm of "on an 8130, opens a dialogue box before the alarm goes off, rendering it useless" fame, isn't it? Yeah, it wants my permission to access the alarm sound file, and that beep won't do it.

A workaround is to enable your firewall (Options > Security Options > Firewall > Enable), but depending on what other 3rd party apps you have, it could create more problems than it solves. It shouldn't ask for your permission anymore.

But I definitely agree--this, among many other things, is something RIM has just done a lousy job at and gotten away with, as the BlackBerry community has apparently [sadly] come to just accept it and compromise.

Yeah, I'm using the firewall fix, it hasn't killed any if my apps yet.but like you, a good alarm is on my wishlist.

You didn't have to enable your firewall? Huh. Well, the firewall isn't upsetting anything for me yet, but I would be interested in running MyAlarm without it, just in case.
