Exclamation Blackberry Advice Needed

Please Login to Remove!

Alright, so i will be switchint to At&t in a couple of weeks. I am looking to get a blackberry for its texting and email and web. I am debating on either the 8310 or the 8320. I know one has wifi and one has gps but i doubt i would use either one too much. What do you guys think? Also I love the iphones web browsing. So i am in between getting a blackberry for at&t or an iphone. Please give me some input. Also, if you have any suggestions for other blackberry's on the at&t network id love to here them. Thanks!

if you can't decide between 8310 and 8320, gps vs WiFi, then get a Bold, it has both, gps, WiFi and the browser is much better

Regards

I would say that all things considered, the blackberry is better.

The iphone's browser does outshine the bold's, but not as much as the bold's email and text outshines the iphone's. Get it? The bold is a superior device. I will not compromise my efficiency, therefore, I go with the Blackberry. I need to receive quick communications. I also need to respond quickly to those communications. The blackberry is the most efficient device with the most diverse group of message types. The blackberry browser is steadily improving, while the iphone still has many hickups with their communications and typing structure.

You aren't willing to compromise looks for performance? I don't understand. It sounds like your mind is already made up.

If you want GPS, you can always get a BT puck and go for the 8320.

I was in the same dilemma recently. I wanted an IPhone and weighed it against my 8120. I don't have GPS on the 8120 but I think the Blackberry Bold (8900?) would be the one I would get. I think T-Mobile is coming out with this phone soon, and I will be getting it soon. Kinda nice to have GPS and WIFI on one unit.

I found typing on the IPhone to be subpar. My fingers are big and I can't type like I can on my Blackberry. Plus I couldn't figure out how you can copy and paste on IPhone (which I think you can't). This was a big deal for me on Blackberry. It is nice to copy text of email and create a task from it or calendar entry.

Good luck in your decision!

Blackberry Bold is 9000 and the one coming to T-mobile is 8900 or Curve 2
