I searched many different phrases before deciding to post this. if you have already seen discussions on this topic, a quick link would help.

I use a Pearl, mainly for work. Most of my bb calendar entries are work related except a few here and there that are non-work. i know that google calendar can sync up to the bb calendar but am hesitating to do a sync because i am afraid that it will put all my business meetings in the public calendar (we have a calendar for the family that is shared across gmail accounts - wife and kid).

i wanted to get some experiences and ideas on how to manage both my business and personal calendars in a single app (the bb calendar app) without having the risk of giving access to my biz calendar to family.

any ideas would be great. thanks in advance.

If you have 4.5 on your Pearl i think you will have one calendar for each email address, so you can maintain 2 seperate calendar the problem is itwill sync the default calendar (which can be changed in the Options -> Advanced Options -> Default Services), however is you are a BES I don't know how that will effect anything.
