I really hope someone has a solution for this: for some users I need to have my BES grab messages NOT from the user's email database on his home server (the one defined in the person document) but I want to make the BES grab messages from a replica of the email database on a different server.

So, in other words, I need to keep the server in the person document as is, but I want to change the server the BES references to.

I tried the most obvious thing, changing the field in the sql database, but the BES changes it back after a few minutes, taking the value found in the person document.

Any idea on how to accomplish this?

no way, the BES looks up the information periodically from the names specified as the directory server for the user.
Only way I know, change the names on the BES, and disable replication of the documents between
names on BES and the other names of your Domain. Then change the directory server for all users to your BES.

Yeah, thanks. I assumed there was no clean way to do it, I just needed someone to confirm it for me. I guess I will resort to either your suggestion or some other way playing with the NAB and replication settings.
