Hi I have a Verizon Storm with OS 4.7.0.75. While I am playing a video, I press on the screen to have the player controls pop up, they only appear occasionally. I am unable to determine whey sometimes the controls pop up and other times they do not. I do not seem to have trouble with my Storm recognizing my screen presses in other applications. Any ideas?

well efk i cant tell you for sure but when i first got my storm i couldnt figure the controls on the media player either but from what i have learned is the controls go away for a bigger screen if you want them back just tap dont click but tap the screen and they will return...

I have the same issue. . . can't get the controlls to pop up unless i hit the back key and then play the video again.

tap the screen i had the same problem i just wasnt tapping the screen right..

That is what I do and it works satisfactorily for me.
