Default Desktop Doesn't "See" Micro-Card

Please Login to Remove!

New Bold, new Desktop software, new micro-card---all good, loaded expansion card with a bunch of videos (nowhere near capacity)---now, when I synch, the Desktop Mgr and also Roxio don't detect the card in BB. The phone itself "sees" it ( I can access videos), but I cannot access to add/delete. The computer itself sees the card. The software used to, now doesn't....

I have: a) rebooted computer
b) rebooted BB
c) re-connected everything
Help!

Welcome to the forums!

On your BlackBerry, go to Options> Media Card. If "Mass Storage Mode" is set to "Off", turn it on, then re-cable your phone to your PC and try Roxio again.

When you are done, done back to Options>Media Card on your BlackBerry and turn "Mass Storage Mode" back to "Off".

Wirelessly posted

I've also had similar issues. I just open the drive letter in explorer and drag and drop files.

are you able to put the card in your PC directly?

(Does your computer see normal USB thumb drives/external hard drives?)

While you have the BlackBerry (with the media card in there) conected to your computer right click my computer and choose manage, in the computer management window go to the device manager is there anything in there will an exclamation mark or any unknown device?

I'm having the same issue. My phone "sees" the card but not my computer through windows explorer or media manager.

It worked perfectly for a while. I had about 5 gigs of music on an 8 gig card. I even installed desktop and media manager at work and my work pc was able to "see" the micro sd card. However, yesterday, when I went to put some more music onto the phone's card....nada. My computer just can't see it.

Today, I even reformatted the card. But same thing..except now my phone "sees" an empty card! (I had the music backed up, I'm not worried). But what's going on? This is driving me insane!
