Default How to tell if wifi or 3G being used?

Please Login to Remove!

If my wifi icon is showing up in clear B&W and my wifi network name is being displayed, I know I have a wifi connection. But how can I be sure that the blackberry browser is actually using wifi and not 3G (or GPRS when not in 3G coverage)?

When you open the browser, it will show you what service is being used in the upper right corner.

hey Mike,

If you hit "U" while in the browser you will see a status bar at the top of the phone. If Wifi is listed then Wifi it is. If 3G or GPRS is displayed you are not Wifing!!
