I just got 2 full body shields for my 8330 and my wife's Rant.
The shield is clear, but when looking at the screen I see a prism effect but it's not distracting; I got used to it within a few minutes. You can definitely tell that it's on because it's not perfectly smooth. There is somewhat of an "orange peel" look to it but at first glance you don't know it's on there.
If you have something on your hands or your fingers are oily it will show up but it's not as noticeable because of the lack of a mirror finish, and it wipes off clean. It also has a tacky feel to it so it doesn't slip out of my hand as easily.
Overall I'm happy with the shields. I went through a few screen protectors that didn't fit or didn't stick. This stuff goes on like window tint; apply water, position, squeegee and let dry overnight. It's thicker than the other protectors as well. This is a heavy softer, pliable material, the others seemed to be thin and more brittle, and it is a sure custom fit; perfectly cut and edge to edge. When putting it on make sure you use a lint free cloth, I had a lot of fuzzies on mine especially around the edges where I wiped the excess water off.
Zagg sells either the screen protector or the full body which I would recommend especially with the 50% off.
