The orginal poster uses a Curve which threw me off. I hit the download link and will double check after installation.

I recoded the file and it adds _recoded.avi to the file.

Unfortunately, I cannot find it in my PC.

Worked fine for me. It recoded the file and outputted it in the same directory as the input file. Uploaded to my 8310 and it plays perfectly!
