Default Blackberry Curve vs. Blackberry Storm

Please Login to Remove!

So i have the blackberry Pearl right now and i like it a lot but i txt to much to not have a full keyboard. So i was thinking about buying a Curve for Christmas since my carrier is Alltel. But ive heard rumors that alltel and verizon are merging on january 1st. So will i be able to buy the Blackberry Storm when this happens? And im not all for touch screens (ive never had one tho) But supposedly this one is amazing. Should i just wait til January 1st to get the Storm or just get the Curve for christmas??

I would have over to VZW and mess around with the Storm, see if you like the look and feel of it. Of course who knows if they will completely merge or just take on the name.

So anyway if you turn out really like the Storm you can try and wait till next year (no promises though).

Of just get the Curve, that's what I did with VZW. (Of Course I'm not a big touch screen guy.)

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8330)

I'd wait till the first to see what happens.

However, I, too, am partial to the curve. I like to push, not touch.

I have worked with both and am more of a curve fan. This is the first generation touch for RIM and is a nice unit, but the curve seems more hardy.

Well ive never tried a touchscreen and im kind of looking forward to it. Ive asked around and people say its much much better then other touch screens and takes a small bit of getting used to but once you figure out how to touch the screen right its an amazing phone

Touchscreen is "neat" but when it comes down to it, i like the buttons, less room for error imo. I played with the Storm today at VZW, not impressed. Great looking phone, but i couldn't imagine trying to multi-task and navigate, but then again- its all about what your used to. I wasn't a big fan of the touch screen at all. THe response seemed slow too, click an icon..wait then somethingwould happen.
