Default I'm not able to open attachments

Please Login to Remove!

I recently sent myself a .doc so I could try out the editor application. My Storm will not open my attachments. It says that there is an issue with the Service Books. I went to my email set up and resent all of my Service Books, but this does not help. Is anybody else having this issue? Can anybody gives me an idea as to what to do next to resolve this issue?

Thank so much

Are you sure it's a .doc (office 2003) and not a .docX (office 2007)..

Hook the BB up to the DM and run the App Loader and make sure the attachment service is checked off.

Hi guys, thanks for the input, but that hasn't solved my problem. Any other suggestions? I'm really at a loss here.

Call me crazy, but you may have to save the doc to your BB and then open it through Docs to Go.

It does not give me the option to save the file.

@zerog46 - The attachment service was checked off.

Do you have a memory card? You might need that to save attachments and then open them. If you have it, perhaps reformat it in the device. You will lose anything on the card, but it will be ready to rock once it's re-formatted.

*FIXED*

Thanks guys for the input. Everything is now functional.

@zerog46 - Your suggestion prompted me to take the attachment service off of the phone and then reinstall it. Presto! Fixed!

Have a relaxing Sunday guys
