Default Parallels and Blackberry Bold

Please Login to Remove!

OK, I didn't see anyone post anything about Parallels and blackberry bold. I'm interested in purchasing the blackberry bold this weekend, and wanted to see if anyone has any problems with the blackberry media sync on Parallels and windows xp. This is what I plan to do.

Using pocketmac, I'm going to sync contacts, calendar, etc.
Using blackberry media sync on windows, i'm going to sync my music.
Is anyone else doing this? Is there a way to sync music without using media sync on the mac?

Thanks everyone

if you are very savvy you can make it work. RIM will not support and AT&T support is non-existent. If you're not savvy be prepared to be frustrated

I am having a problem with maintaining a connection between my Blackberry Bold and Desktop Manager v.4.6 under Parallels v. 4.0. I am able to establish the connection, but when I perform a backup, it freezes on the Address Book - All Database. If I try without this database selected, it fails on Messages. The exact same backup works perfectly under VM Ware Fusion 2.0 and on my Windows PC, so I KNOW that there is no database corruption on my Blackberry that is causing the issue.

I stopped using Parallels 3.0 because my Blackberry would not remain connected to Desktop Manager. I prefer Parallels to VM Ware, but the Blackberry connectivity being reliable is crucial.

What is going on here? Why can't Parallels get this issue straightened out?

I too had continuous backup problems on my Mac under Parallels. VMWF worked well, and is the reason I use it.

There is an update to Parallels v. 4. I installed today and my BB now connects properly and backups up properly.

I am using parallels and have the same problem. What update did you run? The message that I am getting says that there is a problem with "Microsoft Outlook Connection Error" and then the message below it says "No available message stores." This is while trying to set up the sync. I cannot even get to the sync part.
I am using the BB Bold as well.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The update is on Parallels web site. I am not familiar with the error you mentioned.
