So in my last few days of reading i have now discovered all about UMA wow talk about late to the movie, will the storm have it and secondly is it a technology that CDMA carriers have there own version of?

As of right now, no UMA because No Wi-Fi. On top of that it is carrier dependent. So your carrier must provide the Storm and support UMA.

Agreed.

AFAIK, the UMA standard does not support CDMA.

A more basic problem - to make sure it doesn't get lost: To use UMA you must first have WiFi. The Storm doesn't have WiFi.
