Hey...

So I just bought (for $5.99, which is a lot to waste for me as I'm in college) an iBerry Zen theme from BBplay.com. I originally had a theme I liked that was almost identical to the iBerry Zen theme, except it wasn't Zen (you couldn't go to the screen where it shows 5 shortcuts on the left).

So the sole reason I bought it was so that if I changed the Home Screen Image, I could actually see the pictures on the Zen screen (the screen with 5 shortcuts on the left side). I ended up DLing it, changed my Home Screen Image, and it didn't show up on the Zen screen!! You could only see it when you hit the "options" button, which of course you really had no chance of seeing a picture because of all the applications blocking it. The Zen screen still just had a black background. Is this retarded or what?

Is there a fix to this, or did I just waste my 6 bucks?

Have you tried restting the device ........ Pull the battery out while it is still powered on.

Well I've tried resetting it yes, but with no luck.

Most likely the background in that theme is controlled by the theme and can't be changed on the phone.

Ugh... so just to make sure, there's no way around it? (a quick change in code maybe?)
