Cool Export Asset Summary Data Question

Please Login to Remove!

Morning all,

I have a question and hope someone can help. Below is what I'm running BES on, and my
problem displaying information within BB Mgr.

BES Ent v4.1.5
running exchange 2003 sp2
Windows Server 2003 R2 Std x64 Edition
databases on separte SQL 2005 on x64 platform

when I have view all users or indivisual servers I've added columns to view phone numbers
pin IDs, and for the most part most of the phone numbers are visible, but some do not show
and thought it might be service provider's, but looked and most providers whether its AT&T, T-Mobile
Sprint, Verizon all have users showing pin's and phone numbers. So is there a setting or something
I'm missing to force these columns to show up? Management wants to export info each two weeks to
keep records of users coming and going plus to have current inventories of units which it works
pretty well going under Device Management and running a export Asset Summary Data report when I
high light all users. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions how to get this to force all data to
show up...? Its strange some of these people are IT personnel and even after they get new handhelds
and run enterprise activation they get all setup but doesnt show up still some have just names, an PIN ID's
but no phone numbers...its driving me crazy...LOL

any help or suggestions would be appreciated..

I think phone numbers have to actually be set into the SIM for it to show in the BES, none of ours do as issued, i have to go into the SIM settings on each BB and add it.

I believe David is right... I seem to remember doing something like this at a previous job.

As far as monthly stats go, see my signature

I'd have to second getting Berrystats running. The export / reporting via BES is clunky and you can't query things as cleanly.

Get it setup, show the people who want these reports every 2 weeks how to run them and free yourself up to do better things.

Thanks all,

I've already tried that even restarted BB services to make sure it could try and read info. There must be something as you both said to do with either the SIM cards or something with provider setups. See some people I was able to add phone to sim cards, and some already had them entered, so I removed from one that had it and added it again and neither showed up on the BB Mgr with any phone number listings..so I'm running out of ideas...

Thanks any how...I'll keep looking for possible solutions hopefully I'll come up with one...

I know for a fact that all of ours are on the same carrier and that the 8700's simply don't relay that info. Starting with the Pearls, they do. At least without manually editing the entry on the phone
