My BB 8330 has a small gap between the hard gray plastic and the rubberized area on the right side. When I squeeze it together, it lines up correctly, much like the left side which doesn't have this problem.

Anyone else noticed this or am I completely crazy?

Should I just not worry about this? I guess it's my OCD taking over...

I guess it looks big in the picture because of the close up, it really is only like half a millimeter. Most people may not even notice. You can just tell because when you squeeze, it comes together.

But I have read a lot about the dust on the right side. I thought this may be a cause. I looked at an 8310 and it didn't have a gap like this. Maybe it's an intermittent issue. It's probably not worth doing anything about if it's something a lot of people have.

Mine doesn't have a gap like that, my previous curve had that gap after being "cleaned and repeaired" for dust problem from offical BB dealer in Slovenia. I returned it after not being pleased with their service and they gave me a new Curve. It looks like to me that your phone has been opened? Anyway i don't think that gap is dust source. Dust source is probably the gap on the right were lens touches face plate but i'm not 100% sure. I'm still thinking about how to perfectly seal Curve. I orderd a new Curve OEM housing from cnn.cn to test some things out.. i hope i will find some good way to seal gap. I think at this price level, the build quality should be much better. I had several Nokia phones, their Symbian OS sucks but build quality is much much higher than RIMs. No dust, no gaps..

No gap like that on mine. Both sides and all seams are tight.
