Default Disaster Recovery

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have looked through the numerous postings (and RIM Documentation) in regards to setting up Disaster Recovery but there seems to be mixed results out there on the best way to set this up. If you don't mind, I would like to post what I want to do and please feel free to provide any feedback

Environment:

Domino R7
BES 4.1.4 - Preparing for 4.1.5
BB Users 500 (approx)
BES Mgmnt Database SQL hosted on a seperate box.

Is this possible?:

Currently We have one BES server with just the standard backups of the state Db's etc.

Can I set up a second server using new SRP and split the load of 250 users to each server.

If server A fails, fail them over to Server B? Obviously doing a one way replication of the State Db's from each server.

Actually I guess I see the problem here.........I will have 2 different profiles databases. Have I answered my own questions here?

I just want a seamless failover process. I guess setting up a mirror server is the only option

Any reccomendations of a seamless DR plan out there?

BES 5.0 will have a built in Disaster Recovery solution, but for now, Neverfail is by far the best solution.
