I make it to the point where the Curve asks for for a code and I don't have the manual. My wife brought me this BT from Hong Kong. How can I Pair it, I have used 0000 and 1234.

I to just pulled out an old verizon Jabra VBT 185Z and decided to try this whole Bluetooth thing... realizing I didn't have the original packaging or owners manual. I never even realized there was a "passkey" OK IM A BLUETOOTH VIRGIN!
anyhow, I researched all the pass key info and I tried every combination I heard about... after about the 8th attempt at the 0000, it worked! I have no idea why that time....

In the research I got these possibility's.

0000
9999
000000
999999
#1234
#228
#1 followed by last 4 digits of phone number (if paired before)
#777 followed by 10 digit number

Ok is the device bluetooth 2.0 or 1.1 .. If it is the 2nd then maybe your phone wont read it well . I would try syncing multiple times and the default password on 99% of bluetooth's is 0000 .
