I have the 8130 pearl on alltel. When I use the phone as a modem and try to access my yahoo email it will go as far as the main yahoo email screen and will not go past that, and just sits there and times out. I've tried both internet explorer and mozilla firefox browser, and with the firefox I can sometimes get to the first page of my messages but thats it.

I also have problems with craigslist. When I try to place an ad, after i have the ad filled out and ready to post it times out and won't go further.

Another site I noticed didn't work was indeed.com. When I search for something and get the search results and try to click on one of the results it times out.

Anybody else having these problems or know whats going on or is it just me? I've tried to figure this out but can't.

I use phone as modem all the time. I'm using it now and don't have that problem. Are you in a EVDO coverage area? I'm not sure how to do it but you might be able to set the timeout setting of your browser.

It could be the area your in. I use phone-as-a-modem all the time also and never have issues. Once in awhile I'll have timed out pages but no big deal.

Most other sites work fine, but when I get to these certain sites they won't load. I tried raising the time out time on internet explorer but it didn't help. I have EV signal and signal is good. I've tried connecting using the USB cable and bluetooth, but have the same outcome on both
