Where does the card go on the phone?

Sorry, I don't have your device. When you pull the battery, do you see a latch?

On the newer Pearl's, there is a sliding door on the right side of device.

It should be in one of those two places.

On the 8310, it will be quite evident once you remove the battery cover and battery.

Open the silver gate, up, slide the Media Card into the gate with the contacts facing down and the notch on the card oriented per the shape on the frame itself. Let the door down and gently slide the gate to the lock position with your finger nail.
