Default incomming email alerts!!??

Please Login to Remove!

Is it possible for me to disable the alerts for incoming emails yet still get alerts for imcoming text messages??

go to profiles > advanced > scroll to the profile you want to edit > menu > edit and set either vibrate or no alert for all other messages, and chance the SMS alert. welcome to the forums

Profiles>Advanced>Normal(or whichever)>Messages(your email-adress)>Out of Holster> None

Should disable email-alerts only

i dont have a messages option under the profiles advanced option.. it only changes my tones for my phone.. doesn't offer any other options for messages, or otherwise??

it would be by email address. you would have to change it for every address.

EXCEPT.. i can't have my phone on vibrate.. and still have the incoming gmail mail on vibrate????? help???

you can alter the alerts PER email address. you can set just gmail to be silent, or vibrate, or whatever. the gmail app is different though, and isnt really giving you the functionality of the blackberry
