Trying to sync BB Curve with MS Outlook 2002. The desktop manager software version 4.3 does not see Outlook and doesn't let me sync it. I know version 4.2 of desktop manager would not work with Outlook 2000, but that shouldn't be a problem now with Outlook 2002 and version 4.3 of the desktop manger now should it?

Just a note here, many of us recommend using DM 4.2 SP2 vice DM 4.3. Seems to work better and appears to be more stable. Might want to uninstall 4.3 and install 4.2 SP2 and see if that works.

I'd recommend trying to delete and re-create your Outlook profile. I've found that DM 4.2 does tend to behave better than 4.3. YMMV.

To answer danli2093's question, yes, v4.3 software should and does recognize Outlook 2002. We had to upgrade Outlook in a computer to 2002 just to get it to sync. Tried to use v4.2 SP2 version of Desktop to sync with 2000 but 4.2 would not recognize the device (Pearl 8130). That is an option, tho, if your device is compatible with the earlier version software.

One solution to sync problems I noticed on other sites is a reboot of the Blackberry (remove/replace battery) & PC. Don't know if that will help in this situation (I'm a Blackberry novice, so take my advice last) , but is another thing to try if advice in prior posts does not do the trick.
