I have a problem, I live in Spain (vodafone) and I have a Curve, I have my girlfriend in Venezuela (movistar) with a Pearl uk unlocked.
I try to add her in the bb mssenger and I was always left in Pending. The PIN was added, by email, contacts on the agenda, in any way possible. The strange thing is that his sister (my sister i law) has another bb, with the same supplier (movistar), and she could add mewithout problem. we can message us without anby issue.
My girlfriend added more than 18 people in her bb messenger,and I just have my sister-in-law, but it works perfectly.

And we have this message ever:

We try everything, we added by email, PIN, etc....
No works, ever in pending...

Go to messenger
add contact
go to contacts
there go o...to " Use once"
add the pin...
and send the invitation...
Then wait for approval...(she did but never received and ever been in Pendent)

go to options > security settings > firewall > and make sure that you do not have any blocked PIN requests. also try sending her a PIN without BBM, just a regular PIN and see if that works.
