I've had my 8820 for about 4 weeks. It worked fine in all respects until the 22 March, when it stopped receiving emails.
I can still make & receive calls, and can still send emails from it, but not receive.
My emails still come through fine to Outlook on my work's PC, they just never appear on the 8820.
I've checked all the obvious options, and compared settings to someone else in the office's Blackberry, and all looks ok.
I've tried over WiFi, GPRS, etc, no luck.
I'm in the UK and on Orange, and my IT section don't seem to have much of a clue about it - all they could suggest was a reset procedure involving taking the battery out while the device on, holding the power button, etc - no luck.
Help please!
Thanks.

Ok, thanks, not looked at the link yet, as I got it working - I looked at the Firewall settings and realised it said "Incorrection Encryption Key - 2,579 blocked", and that counter was going up by a few every few minutes.
I found an online BB manual that said go to Security > General Settings > Service then choose "Regenerate Encryption Key". I did this, and the BB is now working - it didn't pull in the missing e-mails from the last 2 weeks, but it's receving any sent to me from now on. The manual I found does say "You should generate a new encryption key every 2 weeks" but I find it hard to believe I have to do this manually every 2 weeks in order to receive e-mails???
