The first thing I noticed was the curve up on the sides of the 4 major buttons. I don't have that!

Really really nice!!! i dont think it will work because the top notification LED looks smaller and lower. I would love to have it though.

Yea the led indicator is in a different spot. Just do what I did and paint the case black. Mine came out sweet looking and hard to scratch.

do you have any pictures? i've thought about airbrushing mine, but i didn't want to start without ordering a new set of casing first.

I used Krylon Fusion and well that scratched easily. It's pretty much like paint on top of surface. I used Duplicolor Vinyl & Fabric and wow does this stuff really work. I got a great gloss but man its hard to scratch this paint. I painted it of course with a couple of coats then when it was ideal I let it dry. I then put it onto heat(becareful as you can melt the plastic) which then hardens the paint then put it in a cool place and keep doing that. This is what they do to cars to make paint hard and hard to scratch. I did this and man I love how it came out.

the 8330 is listed on cnn.cn

but not parts available yet. I would keep checking, possibly when the 8330 gets released.

It is different than the GSM curves, the LED indicator is lower, the end and send keys are slightly curved, and possibly the speaker might be located higher. It's hard to tell cause there is more screen bezel and less front housing on the 8330. If it's not interchangable, it's prob because of the LED indicator and/or the handset speaker.

the black one is for the 8330, which is the cdma verison, not the gsm one. i have personally changed the housing on my 8320 a few times, i had the titanum, red and gold. when i saw this black one i wanted it immediately. then when i looked closely, i realized it isnt the same as the gsm housings. the status light is in a different spot. im kinda mad cdma 8330 gets a good looking curve. the 8320 colors are crap, that pale gold and plain looking titanium. i am glad though that rim is making its units look good.

Yea the reason i was asking is cause I am going to get the Telus cdma curve (silver) but I cant stand the silver color on bb's, just doesn't look right to me. I am keeping an eye on cnn.cn if I see anything I'll post it here
