Default Saving Email Attachments on 8830

Please Login to Remove!

When I receive an email attachment on my 8830, there is no menu item to Save the attachment, only Open Attachment. Is this a function of security policy, Blackberry Attachment Service, or a missed setting on my 8830. It is driving me crazy. I have been through every piece of documentation and nothing talks about saving attachments.

Help!!!

Wirelessly posted (8130, Bell Mobility)

You cannot save most attachment types. You can save images and (I think) MP3 files but not others.

If you get Gridmagic (google for it, there is a free version) it can allow you to not only save out the excel attachment but can also allow editing (altho to be frank, the small size (fonts, screen) makes editing an interesting feat)

I think there is a free version which has limitations on size.
