Default Text & Email= same message

Please Login to Remove!

I believed I separated between text & email messages, but still getting messages on both for some reason. Anyway, I have the 200 text message a month plan, do the emails that appear under text messaging count as text messages, I am afraid to go over the 200 and get hit with a .15 cent charge.

Thanks,

Question

Thanks, I was getting concerned. Also I doubled check my settings to separate Text and Email and it appears to be correct:

Messages > Options > General Options > SMS and Email Inboxes = Separate

I sent myself a couple of test emails and they appear under both. Any idea what going on?

I know all messages go into the messages box. I don't know if that setting really removes them from the messages box and places into the SMS box or what.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8310/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

You should see a different icon on your home screen from those settings. That will have all you SMS & MMS msgs. Other than that ur emails will still show on you "Messages" folder

I had the same problem. I use gmail for my emails.I deleted my gmail account via BB enterprise & just set up my gmail account thru gmail separately. Have a seperate Gmail icon.

It got kind of annoying for me. Everytime I would get any kind of e-mail (even spam) kept getting alerts.

Now I just check my Gmail inbox on my own.
