Default Trackball issue...scrolling works though...

Please Login to Remove!

I have a user who's trackball works up, down, left, and right but doesn't work when pressed. I haven't tried any of the solutions for the not working when scrolling problems because he's been out all day. Although scrolling is obviously different than pressing I would suppose there could be similar blockage issues. He did say that he was skiing with it in his coat pocket and while he never crashed or got it snowy, he did have to wipe a little bit of condensation off of the screen. I'll try the press and scroll to see if that does anything. Any other ideas?

Not if it got wet and fried something... You might try removing to ball and blowing some compressed air in there from a safe distance. Trackball Disassembly:

I was just reading about how to dry a bb... Put it in a bowl of rice and let it sit a bit... much like people put rice in a salt shaker it draws out moisture... it might work.... any how just an idea

this came off of another site... i dont remember where... but its an option i guess

Or you could just leave it in the sun and just let it heat up and evaporate
