Do you have to pay for tech support from blackberry?

I was at their website and didn't see anyway to sent a question to a tech person unless I signed up for a paid service plan.

Is this correct?

If you need help with your BB. You can call your provider they might be able to help. I have called T-mobile multiple times and they are great. Or you can post a question here and someone might be able to help.

Sorry to answer your question, they do charge unless you have Tsupport through Rim.

You need to go through your wireless carrier for free support. Support directly from RIM require payment or a support contract.

Nope -- issues are escalated to RIM via your carrier.
