I've had my 7100r now for about 6 months,given to me by friend . Amazing device.Have always been able to clear call log, but now when trying, i get "uncaught exception Java .Lang. nullpointer exception " message. Any ideas why, and what to do. Thanks in advance. needlesbb.

Are you going to Messages > view Folders > Call Logs and deleting all prior from the most recent date heading?

I tried removing battery and reinserting, but now i can 't access call log or call out or receive calls. Everything else is working. I'm at a loss. Any help would be great.Thanks. needlesbb

i would back up the device using DM just in case you need to wipe it. In that case you would have a copy if you lose everything.

Just wanted to thank everyone who tried to help me out...discovered I needed to update the software...go figure eh...lol...anyway once I did that and re-configured everything all is okay now.

Once again, Thank you and will also say I sure have learned a lot on this site and reading all you write back and forth...

i like to peridocially clear out all the sms i get and send and the call logs cos they mean nothing to me but don't know how

I go to Messages> Alt+P> and find the date I to delete from and before> scroll over that date, menu delete prior.
