haha, well put.
It's Chinese, Korean sentences actually average less than Chinese or English; but C & K use double-byte character systems though, so when you don't have the proper fonts installed you'll see more ???? for Chinese than you will for Korean. With the proper fonts installed Chinese visible length is just about the same as English (just a wee bit smaller) but Korean is usually much smaller to the eye (but in those systems there's also less whitespace between characters, so...). I won't devolve into the linguistics, everyone will fall asleep reading my post.
(this is a big broad general statement, of course it's not always true but it's a good rule of thumb)
