anyone having issues with gmail on their bb today? i've had my account configured for months with no issues. today, I'm getting email hours delayed..... any one else?

ps im on an 8100 pearl for tmobile

The only thing I've noticed is reads from the BB are not being reflected/updated in the gmail inbox.

yes, i've checked gmail and like i said, messages are anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours delayed today. I'm configured via IMAP....not sure what's going on.

Try everyday friends. Here in "The Land of Oz", I have noticed slowdown all week. I guess contribute it to too much traffic maybe, I dunno....

Haven't noticed anything but then again I haven't been using gmail much! Slowly converting everyone over to it though

Gmail IMAP will not deliver emails to BB instantly. Only POP does.

So far, im dissapointed with my BB/Gmail "push" technology. At times, emails get delivered in 5 seconds..literally. At times, I dont get it for hours, at which time, different emails sent at different times all get on my BB very late with identical time stamps. Later, I find out, they were sent hours before.

Gmail & google hosted email is being delayed at times. Just wish they would get it stable again.

Some gmail is delayed for hours. Wonder if RIM is having a problem?

So unusual.... I switched back to POP last night, and started getting email nearly instantaneously. Now, I'm delayed again! How do you like them apples???!!!

I only recently switched from an 8700 to an 8100 (few weeks back). No issues until the past 2 days. I would doubt that has anything to do with it, but who the heck knows.....
