Default MicroSD 8GB cards?

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone know if the BB 8310 is compatible with the new microSDHC 8GB cards?
SanDisk says not all devices are compatible with the microSDHC format.
Anyone?

Thanks in advance.

I believe the answer is negative, at least for the current OS. I've seen numerous postings now about problems with the 6 GB. I bought a 4 GB microSDHC myself a couple of weeks ago and it's been great.

Could you please post the operating system version on your blackberry? Also, have you filled the card with files yet?

It seems anything above 4GB can be a poblem but some users have had luck. You can always try it and return it if it fails to work.

I'm fairly certain you need the 4.3 os for anything above a 4gb but dont quote me on it.

it may work for the 8 GB card. but if you try to more than 2 GB worth of data on a bb that is running the following os version: 4.2.1 or 4.2.2, your microsd card will crash...guarantee!!!
