Buy the T-Mobile Router if you intend to use the Hotspot @ Home service and your existing router is not new.

I found my office router would make a UMA connection but for some reason the device would not automatically select UMA without me first turning off GSM/EDGE.

Replaced it with the T-Mobile router and everything works find once again.

What memory card do you suggest? 4GB. You can find great deals on Amazon.com for them. I paid about $50 something for the card, adapter & reader.
What apps are useful or do you use most often? Jivetalk, Google Maps
What other tricks can you give me advice on to get me started? Don't get frustrated when you first start. I had no idea how to run or use a BlackBerry until I got my 8320 and everything sort of fell into place when I played along the device.

If you aren't looking to penny pinch, I would get a Micro SD Card by Sandisk. I have been told they are the most compatible with phones and I have a 2gb one on my ic902 which a lot of people have trouble with and I do not. I also have a 4gb one on my 8320 and have had no issues whatsoever.

What apps are useful or do you use most often?
The ones listed above are great. I also started using the BB beyond411 app and it's my favorite! Not to mention Mini Opera for easier web browsing.

What other tricks can you give me advice on to get me started?
Not sure if I have any of this, I just started using my Curve 2 weeks ago and I am a first time blackberry user, however reading day in and day out in this forum has helped me figure virtually everything out. I feel like I know more about Blackberries then my coworkers and friends who have had theirs for years now.

Good luck!
