Good question. I'm waiting for the answer myself.

Is it supported? Don't know. Does it work? It should. It works on the Pearl with 4.2.1 software. The 8800 came out after the Pearl and also has 4.2.1 software.

People already report 4GB microSD works fine with the 8800.

Default bigger is better

With the bigger capacity cards do you notice a lag in the time it takes to open a file compared to a smaller card?

Default ?

Two questions:

1) Will eBay item # 110162885369 work with my 8830?

2) Will I be able to stick this microSD into the included SD adapter and stick that into my PC and transfer data? I ask b/c in my experience transfer rates with this latter method are at least 20x as fast.

Thanks!

I answered your other post but will answer here too...As long as your computer/card reader is SDHC compliant it will read it.
