Default BB 7520 Does it tell my boss where I am???

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all. First post.

I have a nagging/sinking feeling that my company is using my BB7520 to keep tabs on my location. Can this happen? Am I paranoid?

Do I have to only play golf on the weekends (kidding).

Any help would be much appreciated. I think I am just paranoid but he has a really odd way of calling me at first my office whenn I am there and first on my BB when I am on the road......

Paranoid or not????

As far as I know you can not disable the tracking feature from your phone. It is trackable as long as it has battery power to send and recieve signals. The intent is to be able to track the company tools (usually they are purchased by your employer).

I just read on nextel (sprint) web site that BB's do not work with mobile locator.......

Is this an outdated FAQ?

Default Solution!

You have two options.. 1) turn the bb off.. cant track you if its not turned off.. 2) leave the bb on and turn the antrenna off.
