Default Seperating BIS & BES folders!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have just set up my personal hotmail accounts (x3) to be recieved on my works device. The device is set up for BES so I now have 1x Mailbox on the device for my work emails and then 3x Mailboxs on the device for my hotmail accounts.

The emails are coming down to the device fine - however my hotmail messages are appearing in my works folder AND thier actual hotmail folder on the device. However new message icon appears on the works folder ONLY. I have to go into the 3x hotmail folders to find out what address it was actually sent to.

Is there anyway to make sure the hotmail emails only go to the hotmail boxes on the device and not both the hotmail box AND the works box?

I have already seperated the messages in Options. But this doesnt work for this problem...

Really stuck with this one.

Messages is not your BES inbox. It's a universal inbox for all incoming messages.

To separate your BES mail you will need to get Empower's BES Mailbox app.

Would this work for seperating multiple BIS accounts?

kris, no. You can't separate out the BIS accounts from the Messages folder, but you should have individual folders as you mentioned for your Hotmail, for them already. Look to see if they are hidden. (Menu > Show All).

Keep in mind that on a BES, nothing is personal.
