All,

I can't find an answer to this in any PDF from RIM, so here goes:

A bunch of our BB's today have a new icon on them. We have 6230's and 6710's. The icon looks like an open book - it's just to the left of the GPRS coverage meter and the battery meter.

All functionality is fine - getting data and voice like always - but this icon has shown up and no one can figure out what it's for.

And ideas?

We have T-Mobile service, units 6230 and 6710, BES w/Exchange, BES and handhelds all version 3.6

I believe that is the new service book icon. T-Mobile probably pushed a new one out. Try going to Options, Service Books, and see if one of them is bolded. I can recall having to select it and choose accept, although my memory is fading so I may be way off base here.

That was exactly right - accepted the new service book and icon went away.
