Ok, I'm extremely new to the Blackberry (and all Smartphones for that matter), so this is a really simple question for most. How in the world do you send pics from the camera or from your media files, to other phones? And also, if someone sends a pic to me through their phone, how in the world do I view it? My girlfriend said she sent me some pics last weekend, however I never got a text or anything letting me know about it. Anyone? :(

When I want to send a picture, I go to the picture and then click options and send as MMS and then click who in my phone i want to send it to, and then just send it. When I receive pictures it comes thru as a regular text with me. Not sure why your having problems getting them, but that's how you send them

Make sure you have you carrier has the BB services activated. It cost nothing.

you have to be able to send/recieve mms with your carrier. personally if i am sending it to someone who has email on their phone i just do it through email to avoid the "receiving content" wait that tmobile likes to give me sometimes.

Alltel doesn't support MMS yet.

According to my carrier here in Canada (Telus) the CDMA versions do not do MMS (picture messaging) at the moment. They tell me that it may be a feature that is released but do not know when. I have not been able to confirm what they say...

Can anyone confirm this for me?

So basically, unless someone can send it through e-mail to me, I'm SOL on receiving images from someone else? Wow, that's pretty crappy!

I'm on Verizon which is CDMA and I had to request the MMS service be turned on , but after that it has worked just fine and I've sent and received many pictures from my camera on the Pearl.
